The Manipal Centre for Humanities (MCH) at MAHE Manipal redefines liberal education by promoting critical thinking, articulate communication and the ability to navigate complex workplaces and societies. Dedicated to delivering a holistic learning experience, MCH equips students with the knowledge and skills to excel in diverse domains of liberal education. With an emphasis on core strengths such as multilingual education, research-driven methodologies and boundary-pushing critical thinking, MCH empowers students to thrive in a dynamic global environment.
This programme takes a liberal arts approach. Beginning with foundational courses, students choose Majors and Minors across disciplines during their three-year BA degree. Students can opt for a fourth-year research track for a BA (Hons.) degree in their pursuit of liberal education.
Dappled in sunlight and punctuated by birdsong, the lively classrooms sit alongside cosy reading nooks.
Students will have easy access to a library, an art gallery, an auditorium, a lakeside pavilion and the comfort of a like-minded community actively engaged in studying human thought and behaviour.
